Description
Tranquil five acre water garden paradise; with bridges, waterwheels, waterfalls and magical fountains. Imprinted concrete paths throughout combined with a huge variety of plantings, make these gardens ideal for all year round viewing. Various ornamental buildings form themed areas, and historic machinery has been cleverly combined with the plantings. Friendly hand fed bird life roam the gardens, and the humorous touches throughout the gardens are guaranteed to make you laugh. The majority of our plants have quality stainless steel name tags (over 1100 throughout the gardens) for easy identification.
We sell (and display) water lillies, lotus, louisiana iris and other bog plants, succulents, bearded iris and 175 different day lillies. As well as our children’s playground, children are kept entertained with a quiz which they answer as they go around the gardens (complete with a small prize). Garden construction commenced in 1995, my wife and I building them from a flat paddock. The gardens are most colourful in the spring but have various flowerings and are kept well maintained all year round.
The upstairs function centre is available for hire year round, and can seat up to 130 people for a meal. Ideal for weddings, birthdays, reunions, etc.

Admission: Adults $8, Children 5yr-13yr $4, preschool free. $1 discount for groups of 10 or more.
Directions Signposted from Ngatea main street (State Highway 2). We are 200 metres off the main street.
Parking: On site concrete car park for buses and up to 24 cars. Extra street parking also available.
