Description
The mountains and the picturesque Rakaia River are a wonderful backdrop for this high country garden. Established trees provide a peaceful setting and give lovely autumn colour. Conifers provide year round interest along with shrubs, perennials, natives and various ground covers. The clematis are a special feature in spring along with a large collection of rhododendrons. A spacious barbecue area and tennis court add to the picture. Featured in NZ House & Garden April 1999.
