Waitati, your contact garden for this group is a relatively new garden set on hillside overlooking hisotric Coromandel Town. A plantsperson’s garden with new & unusual treasures for the gardener or floral artist. Nov to Jan is the best time to visit. Waitati and Taraire are open all year whilst Rapaura and Waiau close over winter. If an escorted tour of Waitati is required so no treasures are missed a booking is necessary. Coromandel town is a micro climate, tropical yet subject to sudden downpours. Good footwear & jacket are good travelling companions. Garden of Distinction Award winner.

Enjoy picturesque drives up coast to Colville Cafe & Store then on to deserted beaches for picnics. Visit seafood restaurant for crayfish dinners.
