Easter, Anzac Day and the Chrysanthemum Show will all be over by the time this goes to print. I hope you celebrated and enjoyed them in your own way.
My husband, Denis and I joined the Misty Mountains Tour to Doubtful Sound with Gail Scrivener and 12 others. A magical trip with so many highlights, but without question, for us the best was listening to the silence of Doubtful Sound with only bird song to hear…truly inspirational. In Queenstown, Gail challenged Denis to the Inaugural CHS Luge Competition, which was great fun, with Gail winning the trophy. We would both do the trip again tomorrow.. A must on your bucket list. Meeting the artist and author Da’Vella Gore at Lake Hayes was another delight.
