About the Presenters
Gislinde Folkerts
Gislinde trained as a MasterFlorist in Germany and worked there for many years. She arrived in New Zealand in 1994 together with her husband and son and soon expanded the family to include a daughter. Since settling here she has been working as a professional florist as well as teaching and demonstrating floral design. Gislinde joined the Floral Art Group Geraldine in 1996 and has been president of the group twice.
In 2001 she gained her National Teachers and National Judges Certificate and also completed the Demonstrators Unit.
In 2006 she opened ‘The Flower Gallery, Studio & Shop’ in Geraldine which she ran until 2009. She is currently working as a freelance florist, concentrating on weddings special events, demonstrations and tutorials.

Annette Waller
Annette lives on a farm near Geraldine with her husband and extended family. She joined Geraldine Floral Art in 1990 and has been Secretary and President for Geraldine and President of S.C Area. She gained an S.C Area Rep National Teaching diploma in 2002, which has taken her all around New Zealand.
Annette competed successfully at FASNZ conference 2004, Flora Australis 2009, Boston 2010, Canada Blooms 2012, Ellerslie 2010, 2012 and Ireland in 2014. Her work has been featured in the publication FASNZ Floral Focus from 2000.
At present she is on the Geraldine, Area Education and National Education committees. Annette delights in her craft and “cannot believe how far floral art has taken me!”
