Join bonsai artist Aaron Curtis for an in-depth 4-hour workshop experience in the Botanic Gardens
Aaron will guide you through the intricate process of creating a bonsai. From in-depth wiring, styling and design, followed by on-going care. Learn to create a tree that tells a story, creates a memory, or simply resembles that balance of art and nature. This workshop is an exclusive for Canterbury Horticultural Society and combines two of his popular offerings from Shiro Bonsai.

About Aaron
Aaron studied and worked in the horticultural industry while pursuing his passion for bonsai. Learning from overseas bonsai professionals and driven by his goal to make bonsai his full-time focus, he turned his expertise into a thriving business. Today, Aaron runs Shiro Bonsai, a dedicated bonsai nursery and online store, as well as Kusamono Café, a physical retail store and café. His mission is to make bonsai accessible to enthusiasts nationwide. With unmatched passion and dedication, he continues to share his knowledge and love for bonsai with the community.
